 The 2008-2009 Olympian basketball season came to an end in the District XI AAA semifinals. The Pottsville Crimson Tide defeated the Olympians 69-53. Thorpe only trailed by 3 entering the 4th quarter but a Tide offensive explosion paired with 20% JT free throw shooting doomed the Olympians.
